On April 7, it was officially announced that the Zeekr 8X will officially launch on April 17. The pre-sale price range for the Zeekr 8X is $55,412-$76,000. The new vehicle is built on the Geely-S Super Electric Hybrid Architecture, adopts a 900V high-voltage architecture, and the top-tier Zeekr 8X Yao Ying model will feature a three-motor megawatt electric drive, equipped with carbon fiber kits and other exclusive configurations, and will debut the new-generation G-ASD advanced driver assistance system.



In terms of exterior design, the Zeekr 8X inherits the design style of the 9X, offering five exterior color options: Cloud Amber Red, Moon Sea Gray, Xuanwu Gray, Extreme Night Black, and Extreme Day White. The front fascia features a large metal chrome grille with a vertical waterfall design. The front fascia is equipped with split-type headlight clusters and C-shaped daytime running lights on both sides, and the roof includes a lidar sensor. Regarding dimensions, the Zeekr 8X measures 5100mm in length, 1998mm in width, and 1780mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3069mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large SUV. Additionally, the vehicle uses traditional door handles, and the top-tier model will offer 315mm-wide tires.



For the interior, the Zeekr 8X offers 5-seat and 6-seat versions, with front and rear seats providing heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The driver's seat also includes active side bolster support. The rear seats feature zero-gravity seats, touchscreens, entertainment screens, foldable tables, footrests, an onboard refrigerator/warmer, and electric sunshades. It is reported that the cabin will offer 50 storage spaces, with a trunk volume of 1133L, expandable up to 2200L.

In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle adopts a 900V high-voltage architecture and is equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system. The engine has a maximum power of 205kW, and the three-motor megawatt electric drive delivers a combined power of up to 1030kW. The three-motor version accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.96 seconds, while the dual-motor version does so in 3.7 seconds. Additionally, the vehicle will offer a 6C ultra-fast charging large battery, with capacities of 55.1kWh and 70kWh battery packs, providing a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 410km and a combined range of 1416km. Charging time from 20% to 80% is 9 minutes. Furthermore, the new vehicle will debut the new-generation G-ASD advanced driver assistance system and is expected to feature the Geely AI Digital Chassis, 48-volt active stabilizer bars, and other configurations.
