[New Model Debut] On April 13, the Geely Xingyue L i-HEV and Xingrui i-HEV made their debut. The new models are equipped with Geely's latest i-HEV Intelligent Dual-Hybrid technology, the world's first hybrid system featuring the Xingrui AI Cloud Power 2.0. The official WLTC fuel consumption is stated to be as low as 3.98 liters per 100 kilometers (Xingrui i-HEV).

The exterior design of the new models largely follows the language of the current fuel-powered versions. However, the Geely Xingyue L i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid appears to feature a new exterior color, presenting a champagne gold visual effect. Additionally, it adopts a new wheel design with a mix of gray and silver, giving it a distinct new-energy vehicle feel.

The interior of the Xingyue L i-HEV uses a highly saturated orange color scheme, paired with a dual-screen setup and a three-spoke steering wheel. It is expected to feature the Flyme Auto infotainment system, integrated with the Deepseek large language model and supporting HUAWEI HiCar/Carlink smartphone connectivity. Higher-spec models will also offer a HUD (Head-Up Display), front seat heating/ventilation/massage, and rear seat backrest angle adjustment.

The newly launched Geely i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid technology incorporates the GEEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture and Xingrui AI Cloud Power 2.0. The engine achieves a thermal efficiency of 48.41%, claimed as the highest for a mass-produced engine globally, with fuel consumption 12% lower than the global benchmark. The electric drive power is 230 kW, enabling a 0-30 km/h acceleration time of 1.84 seconds, highlighting an electric-like driving experience. It also features a power redundancy safety patent and the Shen Dun battery system, having completed 2,206 hours of bench durability testing. With over 1.15 million units of the same-source Thor hybrid system already in vehicles, its reliability is thoroughly validated.

According to the launch event, the Geely i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid has received seven authoritative certifications. It passed the China Automotive Technology & Research Center's extreme durability and 18-degree offset triple collision tests, and obtained certifications from the China Automotive Technology and Research Center for HEV AI intelligence and the highest thermal efficiency for a mass-produced engine. It also set a Guinness World Record for low fuel consumption on the Hainan Island loop. The battery achieves an IP68 protection rating and meets new national standards in advance. Both the Xingrui and Xingyue L i-HEV models received the world's first HEV "Level 1 Energy Efficiency" certification. These multiple authoritative recognitions comprehensively attest to its technological and quality capabilities.

Geely officially stated that the i-HEV technology will be first mass-produced in the China Star series, achieving full HEV and intelligent transformation. For reference, the i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid offers three powertrain combinations: 1.5L/1.5TD/2.0TD hybrid-dedicated engines paired with an 11-in-1 hybrid-dedicated electric drive. It will initially be equipped in models such as the Xingrui, Xingyue L, Emgrand, and Boyue to meet diverse user needs.

Regarding fuel consumption, the Xingrui i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid achieves a WLTC fuel consumption of only 3.98L/100km. The Xingyue L i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid achieves a WLTC fuel consumption of only 4.75L/100km. Subsequently, Geely's China Star series will fully adopt the i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid, entering an era of comprehensive intelligent electrification.
