Spy shots of the facelifted AITO M9 have surfaced online, revealing the updated full-size SUV. The vehicle has already completed its filing with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The update brings exterior enhancements, increased dimensions, a power upgrade for the pure electric version, and an extended electric-only range for the extended-range (EREV) variant. It is expected that more details will be announced during the Beijing Auto Show. For reference, the current AITO M9 is priced between 469,800 and 599,800 yuan.

The exterior of the new model features several detailed upgrades. The full-width light bar at the front has been redesigned as a more integrated unit with improved craftsmanship. The grille on the front bumper now features a mesh-style chrome trim, and additional sensor components are visible inside. The new model will also be equipped with floating wheel center caps, although the logos on them are not yet aligned correctly.

The side profile will feature new 'Starlight' door handles, similar to those on the Zunjie S800. A new camera has also been added to the third-row window. The taillights and rear bumper now incorporate chrome trim accents. According to reports, the new AITO M9 measures 5285mm in length, 2026mm in width, and 1845mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125mm. The vehicle uses a ternary lithium battery. The declared electric-only ranges for the extended-range variant are 250km, 255km, 265km, 315km, 320km, and 335km, which are longer than the current model's figures.
