Recently, Zhejiang Zeekr Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., entrusted by Zhejiang Geely Automobile Co., Ltd., has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the 'Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automotive Products' and the 'Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automotive Products'.
Recall Number S2026M0023V: Starting from March 6, 2026, a total of 38,277 Zeekr 001 WE Edition vehicles produced between July 8, 2021, and March 18, 2024, are being recalled.
For some vehicles within the recall scope, due to inconsistencies in the manufacturing of high-voltage power battery components, long-term use may lead to abnormal increases in internal resistance of the power battery. This could result in reduced performance of some power batteries and, in extreme cases, may cause thermal runaway of the power battery, posing a safety risk.
Zhejiang Zeekr Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. will inspect or remotely diagnose vehicles within the recall scope and provide free replacement of the power battery assembly for vehicles that have not yet had their batteries replaced, to eliminate the safety risk. Emergency response measures: To address potential safety hazards, the Zeekr vehicle cloud warning platform will issue advance warnings and contact users via the 400 customer service hotline to arrange proactive rescue services. If a vehicle malfunctions, the power battery fault light will illuminate and an alarm sound will alert the user. Please immediately pull over to the side of the road and call the Zeekr vehicle service hotline at 400-0036-036 to await rescue.
