Recently, official sources have revealed more configuration details for the Haval Menglong PLUS. The vehicle is equipped with Great Wall's Hi4 intelligent four-wheel-drive hybrid technology, offering 28 technical upgrades across 4 major areas. It achieves a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 255km and a WLTC comprehensive range of over 1000km. The new model is set to begin pre-sales on April 18.


In terms of exterior design, the new model continues with the classic boxy shape, featuring 37 rounded corner designs to further reduce the drag coefficient. The front face introduces a new-style grille and retains the square headlight design, with a compact lidar unit mounted on the roof. Dimensions are 4912mm in length, 1950mm in width, and 1905mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. It has a minimum ground clearance of 221mm when unloaded and a wading depth of 580mm. The vehicle will reportedly be available in 5-seat and 7-seat versions.




For the interior, the Menglong PLUS maintains the design style of the Menglong, with a new three-spoke steering wheel that includes additional button functions. It continues to offer a full digital instrument cluster, head-up display, and floating central control screen, with a more fashionable interface design. Physical buttons are retained below the screen, and the central functional area design remains unchanged, still featuring a column-mounted gear shifter.



In terms of powertrain, the new model is equipped with Great Wall's Hi4 intelligent four-wheel-drive hybrid technology, providing 28 technical upgrades across 4 major areas. It features a 1.5T hybrid-specific engine combined with dual motors on the front and rear axles, delivering a combined maximum power of 330kW and a combined maximum torque of 660N·m, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.8 seconds. The vehicle's energy consumption is 21.4kWh/100km. It will also be equipped with a rear axle electronically controlled mechanical locking differential and supports crawl mode and steering assist.
