In terms of exterior design, the XPeng GX adopts a new design with a closed front grille and a star-ring-style full-width light bar, giving it good visual recognition. Dimensions: length 5265mm, width 1999mm, height 1800mm, wheelbase 3115mm.

From the side, the XPeng GX features a full-length waistline that extends from the front lights to the rear lights, combined with multi-spoke alloy wheels, flush door handles, and a floating roof, creating a grand and refined visual impression. The roof line tends to be flat, ensuring interior passenger space. At the rear, it also uses a full-width light bar, echoing the front design. The vehicle will be available in five color options.

For the interior, the vehicle adopts a wraparound cockpit design with chrome accents in multiple details to enhance refinement. It also features a dual-spoke multifunction steer-by-wire steering wheel (135mm electric telescopic/steering wheel and seat smart welcome function), a 17.3-inch 3K floating central touchscreen, and a star-ribbon-style ambient lighting, aligning with mainstream configurations in current new energy vehicles. Additionally, it includes a pilot floating center console with a smart retractable charging panel and hidden retractable cup holders, and is equipped with 33 Listening AI Sound Max speakers, offering 7.1.6.8 immersive panoramic sound, including 8 headrest speakers. The XPeng GX offers three interior color options.

From a market positioning perspective, the Xiaopeng GX targets a clear audience, directly competing with flagship SUVs in the $44,118-$58,824 range, while leveraging a highly competitive price to create a differentiated advantage. By comparing body dimensions with key competitors, we can see that as a full-size SUV, the Xiaopeng GX will compete with models like the Wenjie M8 and Nio ES8. Given that conventional automakers often offer price reductions from pre-sale to final sale as a "surprise," it may also attract potential buyers of mid-size SUVs such as the Li Xiang L8 and Wenjie M7.
Overall, the arrival of the Xiaopeng GX not only fills the gap in Xiaopeng's lineup for a full-size six-seat flagship SUV but also delivers a differentiated competitive strategy. The dual powertrain layout addresses range anxiety, steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering tackle handling challenges in large vehicles, comprehensive AI driving provides a convenient and safe experience, and the spacious six-seat interior meets diverse usage needs. Combined with today's attractive pre-sale price, this vehicle is poised to make it onto more family shopping lists.
● Editor's Review
The Xiaopeng GX can be seen as a key implementation of Xiaopeng's physical AI strategy. It integrates five core advantages: the SEPA 3.0 architecture, dual powertrain layout, steer-by-wire technology, comprehensive AI driving system, and full-size six-seat space, all paired with a competitive pre-sale price, making it a "hexagonal warrior" in the $58,824 full-size SUV market. In the future, as this model launches, it will not only enrich Xiaopeng's product portfolio but also showcase the brand's technological prowess in the smart vehicle sector. Of course, whether it becomes Xiaopeng's next sales pillar will depend on subsequent vehicle deliveries and market feedback, which we will continue to monitor.
