Recently, we learned from SAIC-GM-Wuling official sources that the Bingo Pro will start pre-sales on April 14, with an expected official launch in the second quarter. The new car is positioned as a 'refined and vibrant vehicle,' bridging the gap between the current Bingo and Bingo S models. It features a five-door, five-seat layout, with standard DC fast charging and external discharge function across all trims, offering a maximum CLTC range of 403km.

In terms of exterior design, the Wuling Bingo Pro centers on neo-retro aesthetics, with clean lines that eschew unnecessary details, using rounded and full contours to evoke a retro charm. Key details include circular LED headlights paired with a three-segment arc light strip, which, when illuminated, creates a rich sense of layering, blending classic retro elements with modern technology.

The side features semi-hidden door handles combined with petal-shaped wheel rims, further enhancing the vehicle's refined appearance. The rear design echoes the front, with a retro-style small spoiler that not only adds agility but also improves aerodynamic performance. Paired with ruby-textured rectangular taillights, it offers high visibility when lit at night.

The body dimensions have been comprehensively upgraded to 4050×1758×1580mm, with a wheelbase of 2560mm, offering increases in length and width compared to the current Bingo model, laying the foundation for enhanced interior space. The paint is meticulously crafted using an eight-coat process, delivering rich colors and fine texture, with four personalized color options including Hepburn Green and Roaming Silver.

The interior adopts a five-door, five-seat layout, with optimized space utilization compared to the current Bingo, making it more suitable for family daily commutes and multi-passenger scenarios. It also introduces a front trunk design for the first time, filling a gap in storage solutions, allowing for convenient storage of small items and significantly improving flexibility in use.
The new car's interior offers two color options: Light Beige Brown and Caramel Coffee, with the cabin largely wrapped in skin-friendly soft materials. In terms of features, a floating central touchscreen and electronic column shifter simplify operation, while a wireless charging panel meets modern users' convenient charging needs. The equipped Lingyu Intelligent System supports voice control, enabling easy navigation, air conditioning adjustments, and more, enhancing convenience. For safety, the car comes standard with basic configurations such as ABS anti-lock braking system and ESC electronic stability control.

Power and range are key upgrades for the new model. The Bingo Pro is equipped with a front-mounted single motor with a maximum power of 65kW, an improvement over the current Bingo, and a top speed of 130km/h. It uses a lithium iron phosphate battery, available in 31.9kWh and 37.9kWh capacities, corresponding to CLTC ranges of 330km and 403km. All trims support DC fast charging, with a 30%-80% charge taking just 15 minutes, and also feature 3.3kW external discharge capability, expanding outdoor usage scenarios.
The current $8,824-$14,706 pure electric small car market is highly competitive, with models like the BYD Seagull and QQ3 EV being popular rivals. In comparison, the Bingo Pro leads its class in body dimensions and wheelbase, with its five-door, five-seat layout and front trunk design better meeting family user needs. Standard DC fast charging and external discharge functions across all trims give it advantages in charging efficiency and scenario versatility, while its 65kW motor power is higher than most competitors. For those considering a pure electric small car, it's worth comparing options before making a choice.
