Recently, the Tank 500 has initiated a spring OTA update push. This upgrade features the Coffee OS 3.4 system, with comprehensive optimizations in driving assistance, phone-car connectivity, cabin interaction, entertainment ecosystem, and off-road performance, further enhancing the vehicle's intelligence level and driving experience.

In terms of intelligent driving assistance, this update focuses on multi-scenario driving safety and traffic efficiency, bringing several practical function optimizations. For models equipped with the optional far-infrared night vision system, the animal recognition algorithm has been improved to accurately distinguish between humans and animals, with refined rendering of target contours to restore realistic forms. Additionally, a new toll station assisted ETC passage function has been added, which can provide early prompts for toll station information, autonomously select passage lanes, and control vehicle passage, compatible with highway NOA intelligent navigation assistance driving. During nighttime highway NOA lane changes for overtaking, the system will automatically switch between high and low beams to alert vehicles ahead, enhancing driving safety and traffic efficiency.
Furthermore, features such as cruise traffic lights, NOA novice mode, and ICC traffic light start-stop have been simultaneously introduced. The vehicle can automatically enter cruise mode when speed exceeds 15 km/h for 12 seconds, and the navigation interface can display multi-directional traffic light countdowns. NOA novice mode lowers the threshold for using advanced assistance driving, while the ICC function enables automatic start-stop at red lights, making urban and highway travel more relaxed. Some driving assistance-related functions are only supported for upgrade in the Tank 500 Hi4-Z Intelligent Edition and Hi4-T Intelligent Edition.

Phone-car connectivity experience has seen significant improvements, achieving deep adaptation with multiple smartphone brands. For Android phones, ICCOA Carlink screen mirroring mode has been added, supporting synchronized display and bidirectional control between the car system and phone, allowing phone apps to be used directly on the car system. Vivo and OPPO phones can send addresses from apps to the car's map with one click via long-press drag to the dynamic island or shake gestures, respectively. Additionally, Honor car connectivity has been introduced, supporting wireless connections to create a full-scenario smart interaction. Moreover, phone photos can be projected and saved, with full operations available in the car system's gallery after saving.

Cabin intelligence and humanized design continue to be upgraded, making the driving experience more comfortable and convenient. Some version models support app cloning functionality, allowing video apps to log in with different accounts simultaneously on the central control screen and rear entertainment screen for content playback, with the front row able to directly control the rear screen for easier operation. The system adds time-based wallpapers that automatically change colors based on periods like dawn, noon, evening, and late night, balancing visual quality and driving safety. The UI interface optimizes icon rounded corners and provides two font size adjustments—refined and comfortable. The 3D desktop adds vehicle control shortcuts, supporting customization of car wraps, stickers, and exterior colors.

Simultaneously, the full-screen interface restores a small map display in the upper right corner, making it convenient to check route information at any time. AI proactive services can push traffic, weather, and music based on location and commute times, and recommend rapid heating or cooling according to temperature. Motion sickness soothing display reduces car sickness by simulating vehicle trajectory animations. The rear screen also supports automatic expansion to avoid obstacles when opening doors and automatic closure when locking the vehicle, showcasing thoughtful details.
In terms of the entertainment ecosystem, the car system adds the Tencent long-video app, further enriching in-car viewing options. The Himalaya app has been upgraded simultaneously, achieving personalized and precise recommendations on the homepage, with smoother playback control and search experiences.

For different version models, this upgrade also brings exclusive performance optimizations. The Tank 500 Hi4-Z version exclusively features enhanced braking in sand mode, reducing sand braking distance by increasing ABS slip rate. The 3.0T version adds a soft switch for the silicone oil fan sound mode, releasing noticeable sound when engine speed and water temperature reach standards.
