Recently, official sources have confirmed that the 2026 MG4 will officially launch at the Beijing Auto Show. The new model is expected to receive upgrades in multiple configurations. It is reported that the MG4 model sold over 14,000 units in March, achieving over 10,000 monthly sales for six consecutive months since its launch. For reference, the current MG4 is available in five variants, priced from $10,118 to $15,118.

In brief, the current MG4 inherits the brand's sporty DNA while adopting a new minimalist design philosophy. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4395 mm in length, 1842 mm in width, and 1551 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750 mm. The interior features a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel and, depending on the trim, offers three screen sizes: 10.25 inches (720p resolution), 12.8 inches (1080p resolution), and 15.6 inches (2.5K resolution). The infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.

In terms of powertrain, the MG4 is equipped with a six-in-one electric motor, delivering a maximum power of 120 kW and a peak torque of 250 Nm, with a top speed of 160 km/h. Additionally, the vehicle will be fitted with lithium iron phosphate batteries, available in capacities of 42.8 kWh and 53.9 kWh, offering CLTC range estimates of 437 km and 530 km, respectively, with a 30%-80% charging time of 20 minutes. Furthermore, a semi-solid-state battery version is also offered, providing the same pure electric range of 530 km.
