The car will also be available in a new color, 'Liuli Blue', among other options.

Moving to the side profile, the Changan Qiyuan A06 features a very fluid roofline, along with frameless side mirrors, frameless doors, and semi-flush door handles among other low-drag design elements, achieving a drag coefficient of 0.205. The rear design echoes the front, supporting flowing light effects, and the lower diffuser-like element combined with the upturned ducktail spoiler creates a sporty feel. Dimensions: length/width/height are 4885/1916/1496mm, with a wheelbase of 2922mm.

The interior features a wraparound cockpit design with a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen. It is powered by an MTK8676 (4nm) automotive-grade chip, with computing power said to rival the Qualcomm 8295. In terms of features, the 510Pro+ trim adds a power tailgate and 18-inch low-drag alloy wheels. The automaker also states that OTA updates have enabled the 'Tianshu Intelligent Blowout Stabilization System' and a snow driving mode.

For driver assistance, it comes standard with 5 high-resolution cameras + 12 ultrasonic sensors + 5 millimeter-wave radars, enabling functions like lane change on signal and trace reverse parking. The higher-spec trim adds 1 lidar unit + 11 high-resolution cameras + 12 ultrasonic sensors + 3 millimeter-wave radars, paired with a TC399 chip, enabling highway navigation assist and memory parking.
The Changan Qiyuan A06 will be available in both pure electric (BEV) and extended-range electric (EREV) versions. The EREV version uses a 1.5-liter engine as a range extender, with the engine producing a maximum power of 72 kW. It offers a pure electric range of 240km and a maximum combined range (full fuel and charge) exceeding 2120km. The BEV version is built on an 800V high-voltage SiC platform, featuring rear-mounted motors with maximum power outputs of 120 kW and 210 kW respectively, corresponding to CLTC ranges of 510km and 630km. It also supports 6C fast charging, capable of charging from 30% to 80% SOC in 9 minutes, or from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes.

● Competitors

As model year updates, the competitors for these two new models remain largely the same. The Changan Qiyuan A06 will continue to compete with the BYD Qin L and Geely Galaxy A7. With its long wheelbase, lidar, and rich feature set, it holds a clear advantage in overall product strength and is expected to maintain high sales. Meanwhile, the new Qiyuan Q05's competitors are locked onto similarly sized rivals like the BYD Yuan PLUS. Compared to its rivals, the Qiyuan Q05 also offers richer features and styling, with its lidar and advanced driver-assistance system becoming key considerations for many buyers.
● Editor's Notes
The Changan Qiyuan A06 enters the market positioned as a mid-to-large-size family sedan. This update, with its rich configuration and highly competitive pricing, directly breaks the price barriers in its segment, making a strong entry into the fiercely competitive new energy family sedan arena. Simultaneously, it features the Tianshu intelligent system and high-level driver-assistance configurations, paired with an all-aluminum front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension for a balance of handling and comfort. It becomes a highly competitive choice in the 100,000-150,000 yuan range, even forming a differentiated advantage against popular rivals like the BYD Qin L with its cross-segment features.
It is worth noting that the new Changan Qiyuan Q05 launches simultaneously, forming a 'sedan + SUV' product matrix with the A06. This dual-model strategy is expected to further expand Changan Qiyuan's market coverage, attract more user attention, and help the brand achieve new heights in overall market performance. As a compact pure electric SUV, the Qiyuan Q05 has already demonstrated solid capabilities to rival its peers: it offers multiple range versions, uses CATL battery cells with a three-electric system warranty, and remarkably, includes high-level hardware like lidar at a price point under 110,000 yuan, showing full configuration诚意.
